If you are claiming Child Benefit, you may receive information from DWP/HMRC regarding the change to the child benefit reference. Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire Credit Union is aware of this change, and we are working behind the scene for this transformation to go smoothly. Our Last Working Day for 2020
Today is the last day you can request your share this year as tomorrow (Friday 18.12.2020) is our last working day before Christmas. Please give us a ring if you want to withdraw your share.
We wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We will be back on 5th January 2021.

Two Dates to Take Note
Our last working day for this year is 18th December.
If your child benefit is due on 28th December it will be paid on 24th December instead.

Current Working Procedure
As of today (05.11.2020), we are following the official Government’s recommendation. That is now that everyone should minimise their social/work contact and should work from home if possible.
For this reason, our team will mostly be working from home for the foreseeable future.
Please be assured that we are still providing our service as usual. We are taking loan bookings and share withdrawal requests as normal. Our line is open from Monday to Friday.
The quickest way to reach us is by phone. However, our lines are extremely busy at times. If you are having trouble getting through to us, please send us a message through Facebook and one of our team will try to get back to you as soon as possible.

Unfortunately due to illness our services will be effected for a period of time. It may take longer to get through on the telephone lines. We are aiming to set up our telephone system so we can receive out of office calls at home.
We still have members of the team processing share withdrawals and top up loans from home however this may take longer.

New Telephone System
We will be installing our new telephone system today which will make it easier for you to contact us. We will still be paying share withdrawals and top up loans. However, it could be as late as 5 pm when you receive your payment.

We can take payment over the phone
Our office is still closed and we can't take cash payment at the moment. However, you can easily make a payment over the phone. Just ring our office line 01246 278833 to make a payment.
